Dr. Thomas Sierocinski was trained as a mathematician, bioinformatician and geneticist. He has worked in life sciences for the last 7 years. Thomas holds two MSc (genetics and bioinformatics) and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rennes, France. After moving to Canada, he has worked as a post-doctoral Research Scientist at University of British Columbia in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries and Ocean in the frame of the Cohen commission. He then became a consultant before being a full time employee for GenomeDx Biosciences Inc as a senior bioinformatician focused on Preprocessing, Quality Control and numerical optimization for biomarkers in a regulated environment. His experience encompasses all numerical aspects of biomarker development and related processes automation.
